A great opportunity for a Storeperson to join our fully geared Defence Maintenance Contract team based at Edinburgh, Adelaide.  
 
As a Storeperson you will be responsible for conducting stores tasks, including account management and stocktakes. Reporting to the Senior Storeperson, you will assist with the effective and efficient delivery and control of stores and equipment, with a focus on increasing productivity for the Sites maintenance function.

About the role   
•    Unload goods and check them against order forms
•    Catalogue or label items with storage details  
•    Place goods in bins and on racks, or stack bulky items on floors 
•    Move heavy packages using forklift machinery  
•    Complete orders by selecting goods from shelves and checking them off appropriate lists 
•    Package and send out completed orders to customers 
•    Obtain details of the location and quantity of items in stock, using visual display units or computers  
•    Enter details of received delivery slips, requisitions and invoices into computers 
•    Manage stock register, and organise maintenance requests for tools/equipment that need annual inspections.
•    Face-to-face customer service 
   
About you   

•    Demonstrated experience warehousing experience or stores accounting or commercial equivalent 
•    Exceptional customer service experience 
•    Forklift license, essential
•    Driver’s License, essential 
•    Possess a current State open drivers license for Medium Rigid (“MR”) classes of vehicles, desirable
•    Good communication, problem solving, writing and analysis skills 
•    Well-developed computer skills in Microsoft 
•    MILIs experience will be highly regarded
•    Relevant professional qualifications are desirable 
•    You must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
