Senior Finance Manager - Digital

About the role:

Join Ventia as our Senior Finance Manager - Digital Services. Reporting to Group Financial Controller you will partner with our General Executive Digital Services providing financial insights and support to optimise operations, ensure cost efficiency and add strategic value to the division.

Based at our Beautiful North Sydney head office right across the road from the train station we offer a flexible work atmosphere splitting your time in the office and work from home. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead finance staff and business partner with the Digital Services function, developing and embedding systems and process to drive performance and consistency.
  • Monthly reporting and review, analysis and insights into performance including benchmarking to drive improvement identifying areas for improved efficiencies and cost savings
  • R&O analysis, prepare and present financial reports, forecasts and recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Implement action plans to improve working capital performance to achieve target conversion rates.
  • Ensure governance and compliance with financial controls and develop new processes to support business growth.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., qualified CA or CPA) preferred.
  • Experience in financial analysis, preferably within IT, Technology, Digital Services and or a business transformation environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, ERP systems).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience within a large-scale complex organisation.
