Senior Environmental Officer


The Opportunity

Support our Sydney Roads Asset Performance Contract in managing environmental risk by partnering with the project delivery and maintenance teams.

X1 permanent full-time position

Primary responsibilities:

  • Work with delivery and maintenance teams to ensure environmental controls are planned and implemented on site in line with the relevant legislative requirements
  • Identification and communication of environmental risks in early planning stage of project delivery
  • Development and review of environmental assessments and relevant environmental permits
  • Review of construction environmental management plans (CEMPs) for projects
  • Conduct environmental inspections, incident investigations, implementation of corrective actions, and distribution of lessons learnt
  • Attend and contribute to project risk workshops and toolbox talks

Could you be our next Senior Environmental Officer?

  • Environmental tertiary qualification
  • 2- 3 years environmental monitoring experience
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • External and internal stakeholder management experience
  • Hold a Driver’s License
  • Hold a white card
