Reliability Engineer

An exciting opportunity has opened within our Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT) and Sydney Harbour Tunnel (SHT) Asset Management Services Contract with Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW).
This role is all about driving excellence by implementing cutting-edge Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) systems and processes. You'll be at the forefront of optimizing reliability models, keeping asset maintenance and inspection programs not just current but highly efficient—balancing risk, cost, and performance to perfection!

Key Accountabilities:
- Establish and monitor Maintenance Requirement Analysis (MRA) for WHT and SHT assets
- Improve asset reliability and maintenance data throughout asset management lifecycle
- Support the transition to Predictive Maintenance and Intelligent Infrastructure
- Implement risk assessment methods like Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) for various asset types
- Assist in the roll out of RCM software systems
- Establish and update asset Reliability Models
- Establish and continuously improve our Defect Reporting and Corrective Action System (DRACAS)
- Continuously refine asset management processes and enhance KPIs
- Research and implement innovative solutions for asset management activities
Could you be our next Reliability Engineer?
- Tertiary qualification in Reliability Engineering
- Previous experience in road maintenance or construction is highly regarded
- Proven expertise in Asset Management
- Experience with Reliasoft and Maximo systems
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills
- Working knowledge of asset management principles (ISO 55000)
- Experience reporting to internal management as well as the client
About the contract
Ventia was awarded the Western Harbour Tunnel and Sydney Harbour Tunnel Asset Management Services contract by Transport for NSW in April 2022. Under this contract, Ventia will provide operations, maintenance, and strategic asset management services for a period of approximately 15 years with a further 2 x10 year options for extension.
