About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will perform routine planned inspections and audits generating reports on Completed Overhead powerline work and project work according to Western Powers standards and specifications.

  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure consistency, reliability, and compliance with requirements
  • Conduct inspections and audits to identify quality issues, defects, or non-conformities
  • Review technical documents and specifications to understand quality requirements and criteria
  • Perform visual inspections and measurements to detect potential defects or quality issues.
  • Analyse quality data and metrics to identify trends and support continuous improvement.
  • Document quality findings, corrective actions, and maintain traceable records
  • Train staff on quality control procedures and foster a culture of quality awareness
  • Assess suppliers to ensure adherence to standards and provide feedback

About You

  • Diploma in Quality Auditing is desirable
  • Experience in Quality Assurance on the Western Power Network (desirable)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, VisRes, and MS Projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead quality audits and inspections effectively
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
