About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will perform routine planned inspections and audits generating reports on Completed Overhead powerline work and project work according to Western Powers standards and specifications.
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure consistency, reliability, and compliance with requirements
- Conduct inspections and audits to identify quality issues, defects, or non-conformities
- Review technical documents and specifications to understand quality requirements and criteria
- Perform visual inspections and measurements to detect potential defects or quality issues.
- Analyse quality data and metrics to identify trends and support continuous improvement.
- Document quality findings, corrective actions, and maintain traceable records
- Train staff on quality control procedures and foster a culture of quality awareness
- Assess suppliers to ensure adherence to standards and provide feedback
About You
- Diploma in Quality Auditing is desirable
- Experience in Quality Assurance on the Western Power Network (desirable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, VisRes, and MS Projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead quality audits and inspections effectively
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
