Quality Engineer


Ventia’s Motorways & Tunnels Contract are seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team in a full-time permanent capacity based at Arndell Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying knowledge of relevant standards to assess, monitor and review compliance of the delivery of works carried out of the Sydney Roads Asset Performance Contract.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist in the implementation of Quality objectives aligned to the Sector Safety, Health, Environment and Quality strategy at the site or location level
  • Review all client specifications to ensure all QA/QC contract deliverables required under the contract are captured and processes are in place to ensure their capture
  • Provide accurate reports on Quality Assurance and control performance related matters, including non-conformance, defects and deficiencies
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspect the quality of work of the Road Network in the Western Parklands region and ITS for Regional NSW (from Western Sydney  to Mt Victoria to Camden)
  • Plan and schedule to meet project requirements ensuring timelines and outputs are met, ensuring monitoring and field visibility is met

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, ideally in Civil or Construction or similar
  • Must have a valid drivers license and willing to travel across Sydney
  • Sound communication skills with a high level of literacy and numeracy skills and able to identify project members requiring additional comprehension assistance
  • Exceptional attention to detail and an ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Security awareness and distribution of electronic information
  • Experience undertaking assessments against relevant standards
