About the Role
The team are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery for the NBN Aerial projects across QLD, NSW and TAS. With a hybrid working environment, the selected candidate can either work within the West End, Brisbane or Parramatta, Sydney office.
The selected candidate will have experience within the Aerial scope specifically with experience dealing energy providers and driving a harmonious work environment for the team, as well as ensuring program excellence, budget management and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Identify, recruit and onboard suitable Project Team resources and Subcontractors/Delivery Suppliers
- Build a strong, high performing team, aligned to our purpose and enterprise strategic objectives
- Organise and lead all key meetings with Project Team, Clients and other Project Stakeholders
- Identify and develop strategies to manage all risks and realise opportunities
- Analyse monthly project and financial performances
- Relentlessly pursue our Safe for Life Philosophy and promote a caring culture
- Clearly understand all contractual obligations and entitlements, including KPI’s and delivering to the customer’s needs
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years project planning experience, within the aerial network
- Experience in dealing with Energy providers with comprehensive knowledge of accreditation & compliance requirements.
- Subcontractor management
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Sufficient in Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets
- Demonstrated knowledge of cost management and finance principles
- Demonstrated experience with ticket of work management and stakeholder interactions
