Maintenance Supervisor


Ventia, in partnership with Homes NSW are seeking multiple Maintenance Supervisors to join our team in Western Sydney. You will be responsible for inspecting properties across Western Sydney to ensure maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with contractual requirements.

What you’ll be doing

  • Inspect vacant and tenanted buildings and coordinate trade contractors/subcontractors to perform maintenance works that are required to be completed in a compliant and timely manner.
  • Communicate with staff and subcontractors to ensure that they are kept informed of any issues relating to contract performance and compliance. 
  • Ensure that work site instructions are followed including Risk Assessments, Job Analysis, Hazard Identification, and In Process Inspections. 
  • Identify defective works and non-conforming work practices so that timely and appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Contribute to the ongoing training of operations staff & subcontractors through participation in toolbox meetings, workshops and other related activities.


About you
The successful candidate will undergo a reference, police, and medical check.

  • A completed trade qualification.
  • Relevant experience in building, construction site management or quality inspection.
  • Strong interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
  • Sound computer skills.
