Maintenance Planner


Support our significant maintenance contract to deliver Australian Defence Force capability. We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to play a unique role in keeping Australian Defence assets ready for activities based at Steele Barracks in Moorebank, NSW. You’ll work Monday-Thursday 7am-3:45pm and Fridays 7am-12pm.

You must be an Australian citizen and able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.

What you will be doing:

  • Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) aid is coordinated and provided by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and this role will play a critical part in the planning and maintenance of the program. You’ll be required to:
  • Be responsible for planning the maintenance of HADR (Humanitarian and Disaster Relief) Cache.
  • Maintain and update the HADR report sheet in MS Excel and use our internal system, MILES.
  • Work closely with Department of Defence to report weekly to operations.
  • Work with the Loans/Cache manager on HADR issues and equipment change outs.


About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role or planning or scheduling equipment is ideal.
  • A technical background (vehicles) is advantageous but not required.
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Sound computer skills with the ability to navigate different systems.
