The Role
Ventia, in collaboration with the Australian Defence Force, is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Kitchen Hand who is passionate about delivering exceptional food and outstanding customer service. Join our vibrant team and support daily kitchen operations and high-quality food preparation, including meal service and event catering.
This casual position is based at DSTO Edinburgh, South Australia. The DST Café operates weekdays from approximately 7 am to 3 pm. In this role, you will assist with kitchen operations, food preparation, food service during the lunch period, and general cleaning duties. The position requires around 4 hours of work per day, totalling approximately 20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours depending on the café’s workload. Successful candidates may also have the chance to work at other Defence locations, including RAAF Edinburgh, Keswick, Woodside, and Murray Bridge, if they are interested in taking on additional hours.

Skills & Experience
Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance up to the level of Baseline. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen.
