Based in the Illawarra, Ventia’s ‘NSW Industrial’ business group provides a range of contract maintenance and miscellaneous services work for a variety of clients; including our longstanding BlueScope at the Port Kembla Steelworks.
About the Role
A position is available for an Industrial Electrician to join our team working across the heavy Industry at BlueScope Steel in Port Kembla. This position is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday, 7am – 3.30pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Read electrical drawings to establish tasks required
- Work with motor control cables
- Terminate large diameter cables
- Work within the construction/heavy industry
About You
- Cert III in Electrotechnology
- Have own tools to perform the role
- NSW Electrical license
- Relevant experience within the construction/heavy industry
- OHS General Construction Card (White Card)
- NSW Drivers License
