Fire Station Manager - HMAS Cerberus

With over 35 years’ experience working with Defence and with the recently awarded 6-year Firefighting Services contract, 2024 is an exciting time to join Ventia.  In support of this newly awarded contract, Ventia are seeking a Fire Station Manager to join their global and diverse organisation.

About the role

Based at HMAS Cerberus, this position is primarily responsible for:

  • Leading and managing all safety, operational and people capability requirements of a contracted Fire Station within the individual role remit, 
  • Driving the Station culture and performance to meet the Ventia Values and Customer contract requirements.
  • Ensuring all assets are maintained in readiness and preparedness for safety and emergency response.
  • Leading Ventia’s ‘safety and health above all else’ promise by driving safety, environment & health outcomes by role modelling our LEAD behaviours (Learning, Engaging, Accountability, Discipline) and leading a culture of compliance.

About you

  • Previous experience leading and managing a team in a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Experience In the application of a safety management system in a high-risk operating environment.
  • Qualification in business management is preferred.

You must be an Australian citizen and able to maintain a Department of Defence Security Clearance to Apply.
