Finance Administrator


Ventia are currently looking to engage an experienced Finance Administrator with SAP/ARIBA purchase order experience to provide Administrative and Financial services to the site management and personnel for the Department of Transport based at Fremantle.  This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday.

About the role

  • Raising Purchase orders
  • Assisting & facilitating the Payroll process & Work Hours recording process within our range of contracts
  • Building a network across the F&A group and maintain cross-functional relationships with Central support functions and other Business Services teams
  • Administration within SAP of work orders. Procurement of office consumables, assisting with booking travel for the operational team.
  • Maintaining excellent knowledge and understanding of standard end to end processes in scope and systems, including handover points with other functions
  • Dealing with vendor queries and assisting vendors with ARIBA claims.
  • Creating, implementing and continuous review of operational procedures to facilitate the finance function including ownership of various responsibilities within the group
  • Accounts Payable oversight & support of higher-level reconciliations and issues
  • Assisting with month end process.


Requirements

  • Min 2yrs experience in a simliar role 
  • Sound IT skills (SAP/Ariba, Microsoft Applications) 
  • Proven experience in Procure-to-Pay functions and knowledge of Time entry & management (Payroll), Purchasing, and Reporting
  • Proven experience in a relatable Finance & Administration role for a large corporation
  • High performance culture & ability to prioritise work effectively 
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to show initiative & drive adherence to processes
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
