Customer Service Attendant


In partnership with the Australian Defence Force, Ventia are seeking a motivated Store Service Attendant to join our small and friendly team based in Williamtown on a full time permanent basis. We proudly provide clothing and personal equipment services to the Australian Defence Force, and you’ll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our customers.

To be successful you must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance and therefore must be an Australian Citizen.

What you’ll do:

  • Over the counter customer service.
  • Operating computer system to obtain details of stock quantity and location.
  • Receipt and delivery of goods.
  • Organising and controlling the day-to-day workflow - receiving, scanning, sorting, and placing incoming goods on shelves.
  • Answering customer queries regarding stock location and progress.
  • Assisting with regular stock takes and cleaning of work site.

About you:

  • Prior demonstrated experience in a customer service role. 
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • A team player who works well with others.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
