About the role:  

As our Contracts Administrator you will be responsible for supporting the Contracts Manager in the preparation, negotiation and management of contracts and service level agreements with our suppliers.

This role ensures compliance with contractual obligations, assists in risk mitigation and maintains accurate contract records. 

The ideal candidate will possess well developed organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Flexible on office location with options to base from any of our Australian state head offices. Preference for Sydney or Melbourne however open for the right applicant. Hybrid working enviornment splitting your time in the office and work from home.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Contract preparation and drafting for suppliers, ensuring these meet compliance with Ventia organisational standards.

  • Contract Review and support to ensure terms and conditions meet internal policies. Including subcontract development support.

  • Compliance monitoring, assisting in contract amendments and renewals.

  • Maintaining records of all contracts and related documentation.

  • Identification of potential risks supporting strategies to minimise exposure. 

  • Stakeholder management acting as a point of contact between suppliers and the business facilitating effective communication and resolution of issues.

  • Market research support to ensure we are up to date on industry trends, pricing benchmarks. 

About you:

  • Degree qualified within a relevant discipline, business, Law,  commercial or similar.

  • Demonstrated experience within contract administration or procurement within a complex environment managing supplier contracts and compliance.

  • Analytical individual with a high level of accuracy, and attention to detail.

  • Exceptional relationship building and communication skills both written and verbal able to partner with various levels of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, policies and governing contracts and procurement activities. 

  • Proficient in resolving disputes or conflicts that arise during contract lifecycles.
