Ventia are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to contribute to our newly awarded water contract, start your journey at Ventia and apply today!    

The Maintenance Manager can be based in the following regions:  

  • Brisbane  
  • Sunshine Coast 

About the Contract   

Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand. Our clients are the owners and operators of assets that are critical to our local communities. Ventia has been awarded a new water contract to deliver preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance along with Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentational services across the Seqwater network.   

Ventia will provide service excellence across 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations and 26 referable dams.

About the Role  

Our Maintenance Managers will oversee the maintenance programs across designated regions.  Leading a team of Mechanical and Electrical Supervisors and trades you will have focus on people management, KPI’s and performance and submitting business cases on continuous improvements.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Meeting with clients to understand their needs and expectations with clear communication  
  • Update the schedules/planners and other regional Maintenance Managers on progress, ensuring all are informed and aligned 
  • Monitoring and adjusting schedules to respond to changes in workload 
  • Compile necessary data to support contractual success, including compliance, safety and reporting breakdowns. 
  • People management including conflict resolution, training and development & performance management and leading safety culture 

About you 

  • Relevant trade qualification such as Mechanical or Electrical  
  • Experience managing large, dispersed trades across large asset maintenance contracts  
  • Experience in computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as Mainpac, Maximio and or similar  
  • Certificate in Frontline Leadership (Advantageous)  
  • C Class drivers licence (Mandatory)
