We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Administrator to join the retail stores team. The position will see you based at Lavarack Barracks in Townsville, QLD within our defence contract.
The role is predominately administration-based however, store work could be required from time to time on rare occasions. Your outstanding customer service skills will enable your success in this position.

What you will be doing
Database & inventory management using SAP-based MILIS (Military Integrated Logistics Information System) system;
High volume data entry for stock takes, entering received delivery slips, requisitions, and invoices;
Assist in the unloading of goods and checking them against order forms;
Ensuring all documents are completed correctly and in compliance with defence policies;
Check on email enquiries and reply where applicable/general housekeeping of the inbox; and
Providing clerical support to customers throughout the process.
About you
The successful candidate will have:
Good interpersonal and communication skills as well as attention to detail;
A fantastic attitude and keenness to learn and work as part of a team;
1-2 years previous experience in a Data Entry / Administration role, ideally within a Stores / Warehousing environment;
Well-developed computer skills in Microsoft, MILIS and Defence Systems are highly desirable;
A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport; and
You must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance up to the level of Negative Vetting Level 1. As a result of this requirement, you must be an Australian Citizen.

Hourly rate of $27.01 per hour;
3 weeks break over Christmas/New Years;
Permanent Full-Time position with early finish on Fridays (Monday to Thursday – 7:30 am – 4 pm & Friday 7:30 am – 2 pm);
