The Role

Working a 14/7 Roster, this role is responsible for supporting the project’s program management, with a primary focus on planning and monitoring ongoing activities. Key responsibilities include developing a detailed program of work, identifying critical risks, and recommending mitigation strategies. The role ensures the Snowy 2.0 team and stakeholders remain fully informed about timelines and interdependencies across multiple supporting projects, including coordination between the owner’s team and the main contractor’s program. Additionally, this position manages updates and reporting on the relevant program for the Snowy 2.0 project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed programs for owners team works and support projects, contributing to the master program updates.
  • Track and report on key KPIs, lookahead programs, and process reports, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
  • Review contractor program, provide feedback, and support risk analysis, including delay, disruption, and mitigation assessments.
  • Collaborate with project teams and contractors to manage planning-related issues, ensuring effective program management and timely reporting.
  • Support planning system closure, time phasing of costs, and assist the Planning Engineer and Manager with ad-hoc tasks as needed.

What You'll Bring

A Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Project Management, combined with experience in project planning and a deep understanding of multidisciplinary interdependencies in large-scale construction projects. Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential, along with strong analytical skills to interpret complex project programs and manage interdependencies within an EPC turnkey environment. Knowledge of cost management systems, including time phasing and overall project controls, is crucial. Strong communication, presentation, and teamwork abilities are vital for success in this fast-paced role.
