The Role

This position,, part of the Snowy Hydro 2.0 Project Owner's Team, is responsible for coordinating quality across all manufacturing and construction activities on behalf of the 2.0 Owner's Team. Reporting directly to the Senior Project Engineer - Quality, the primary focus of this role is to proactively ensure that all construction activities align with the project’s quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain top health and safety standards, implement safety plans, and uphold Snowy Values.
  • Lead by example, following SHL Health and Safety policies.
  • Ensure compliance with Employer's Requirements to prevent short, medium and long-term issues.
  • Coordinate quality activities to avoid construction-related legacy issues.
  • Keep construction teams updated with current drawings, specifications, ITPs, material approvals and method statements.
  • Manage documentation for hold and witness points.
  • Review Contractor documentation per Employer's Requirements.
  • Oversee Snowy 2.0 quality team's work pack and inspection plan reviews.
  • Verify Contractor's Lot records against Project quality principals.
  • Conduct and witness Quality Audits and Process Control Verifications (PCV).
  • Maintain on-site QA/QC procedures.
  • Support quality processes across all functions.
  • Prepare and monitor daily progress reports for the Quality Manager.
  • Keep accurate, accessible versions of drawings, documents, and records on-site.
  • Manage all QA and non-conformance communications via ACONEX.

What You'll Bring

A Trade or Diploma qualification (preferred), experience in large-scale infrastructure or mining projects, strong quality coordination, assurance, and auditing skills, proficiency in document management systems like Aconex, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritise, work independently, and adapt flexibly, along with a high attention to detail.
