About the position:

An exciting opportunity exists for five Project Managers reporting to the Portfolio Delivery Lead full-time to join the Technology team.


The Project Manager Technology drives project delivery from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are meticulously planned, executed, and monitored to achieve strategic value outcomes for the business. This role is crucial for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Project Delivery: Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring strategic business objectives are met.
  • Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, defining scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Track expenditure, monitor budget utilization, and ensure appropriate project resourcing.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, document, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
  • Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track key milestones and deliverables, providing regular, accurate status updates to stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Confirm all project deliverables meet agreed-upon requirements and quality standards.
  • Team & Stakeholder Empowerment: Create clarity and momentum for the project team, manage stakeholder relationships, and serve as the project's communication hub.
  • Safety Leadership: Demonstrate and drive the highest level of focus on safety, promoting engagement and compliance.

About the location:

These five roles will be based across our Sydney, Melbourne, and Cooma offices to support team collaboration and key stakeholder engagement. Hybrid working arrangements are available, and location will be matched to business needs and candidate suitability.

About you:

  • 5+ years of technology and business project management experience, with direct experience managing multiple concurrent projects up to $10M.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and skill sets.
  • Holds Project Management qualifications or certifications (e.g., degree, Prince2, Agile).
  • Proven ability to negotiate with, manage, and supervise external contractors and consultants.
  • Capable of working with autonomy and taking responsibility for project outcomes.
  • Demonstrates a strong value set in how they behave and interact with others.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet critical deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a constantly changing environment.
  • Flexibility to travel across Snowy sites when required.
  • Background in software development, infrastructure, corporate systems or cyber security projects (desirable).
