Maintenance Coordinator | Cabramurra

Snowy Hydro is a dynamic, integrated energy business that has been providing on-demand, reliable energy to Australia for generations. Snowy Hydro owns and operates a powerful combination of generation assets, including the mighty Snowy Mountains Scheme, gas and diesel plants, and contracted wind and solar energy. We also provide electricity and gas to about 1 million retail customers through our retail brands Red Energy and Lumo Energy. Snowy 2.0 is Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. This nation-building project will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.

An exciting opportunity exists for a full time Maintenance Coordinator supporting our Cabramurra Township. The successful candidate will ensure the availability, reliability and ongoing performance of township assets through delivery of an efficient and effective maintenance plan.

Some of your day-day responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, coordinating and completing the design and preparation of work packages to ensure the maintenance plan can be delivered;
  • Coordinating the establishment of contracts for the provision of operating and maintenance work;
  • Proactively focussing on continuous improvement, by driving the need for standardisation and consistency of approach;
  • Ensuring all maintenance work is planned in accordance with the businesses maintenance processes and systems;

Skills/experience you will ideally possess:

  • Previous experience in maintenance planning will be highly regarded;
  • Knowledge of maintenance program requirements, analysis techniques and maintenance management practices;
  • Previous purchasing experience will be good to have;
  • Project management skills/experience;
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with a range of personnel and customers;
  • Previous experience working on ELLIPSE, SAP, MEX or similar systems are desirable;
  • Trade background or relevant technical qualification;

You will be a self motivated, proactive individual with excellent organisational skills. Building professional relationships with a range of stakeholders will come naturally to you. This is a full time role, based in Cabramurra in the Snowy Mountains. If you enjoy skiing, fishing, mountain biking, wakeboarding, sailing, mountain hikes/ walks, then the Snowy Mountains is the place to be.
