Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the employee experience at Snowy Hydro? We have an exciting opportunity for a Housing and Relocation Consultant to join our People Services team! In this role, you will be at the forefront of managing our property portfolio, ensuring that our valued employees feel at home and supported through every stage of their journey with us. In this role, you will:
- Maintain a purpose-fit portfolio of owned and leased properties across Cooma, Jindabyne, Talbingo, and Khancoban (for our Development Program employees).
- Allocate company-provided housing and ensure each property is prepared for tenancy, covering cleaning, furnishing, and routine inspections.
- Coordinate with real estate agents and property owners for leased properties, and collaborate with Snowy Hydro maintenance teams for owned properties.
- Oversee ancillary services, including groundskeeping and cleaning, to ensure properties remain operational and well-maintained.
- Conduct regular property inspections and maintain detailed records, including tenancy agreements.
- Monitor employee deductions and cost allocations for accuracy, keeping tenants informed of all property activities like inspections, maintenance, and tenancy changes.
- Support new and transitioning employees with relocation, coordinating with removalist providers to ensure a seamless experience.
- Maintain positive relationships with service providers, gathering feedback to enhance service delivery and experience.
- Generate reports on accommodation usage and perform annual rental market reviews for company-owned properties.
- Contribute to financial reporting and support housing strategy initiatives by refining procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement.
What we're looking for:
- Previous property management or mobility coordinator experience is advantageous; however, a strong administrative background is essential.
- A customer-focused approach, aiming to deliver an excellent experience to tenants and relocating employees.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear interactions with various stakeholders.
- High attention to detail in record-keeping and property-related responsibilities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Commitment to confidentiality and handling sensitive information with care.
