Snowy Hydro is a dynamic, integrated energy business that has been providing on-demand, reliable energy to Australia for generations. Snowy Hydro owns and operates a powerful combination of generation assets, including the mighty Snowy Mountains Scheme, gas and diesel plants, and contracted wind and solar energy. We also provide electricity and gas to about 1 million retail customers through our retail brands Red Energy and Lumo Energy. Snowy 2.0 is Australia's largest renewable energy project, which will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.

The role:

We're seeking an Executive Assistant for our Corporate Affairs, Community & Sustainability (CACS) team to provide administrative support and secretarial support to the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer.

In this role, you will manage calendars, coordinate travel arrangements, prepare correspondence, presentations, and provide general administrative support to the wider team. Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, you will maintain confidentiality, discretion and professionalism at all times.

Further responsibilities include:

  • Managing calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, ensuring effective time management and prioritisation.
  • Coordinating meeting logistics, including booking meeting rooms, arranging catering, and preparing meeting materials.
  • Coordinating travel arrangement, including flights, accommodation, and transportation, and for group travel undertaken by the wider team.
  • Preparing correspondence, presentations, reports, ensuring accurate and organised documentation.
  • Providing general administrative support, coordinating IT support, processing invoices and supporting other team processes.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Early in their administrative career with a minimum of 2 years' experience in Executive Assistant or Corporate Affairs Secretarial roles.
  • A self-starter with flexibility to manage expectations and varying volumes of work whilst meeting deadlines.
  • Acting as the glue to assist the CCAO in empowering and coordinating the wider team.
  • Digital proficiency in content management systems and other digital platforms with the ability to learn newer platforms with required guidance.
  • Advanced Google/MS Package skills.
  • Stakeholder management experience with a natural ability to build strong and lasting relationships.
  • Excellent time management, presentation and organisational skills.
