Snowy Hydro is a dynamic, integrated energy business that has been providing on-demand, reliable energy to Australia for generations. Snowy Hydro owns and operates a powerful combination of generation assets, including the mighty Snowy Mountains Scheme, gas and diesel plants, and contracted wind and solar energy. We also provide electricity and gas to about 1 million retail customers through our retail brands Red Energy and Lumo Energy. Snowy 2.0 is Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. This nation-building project will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Asset Management Functional Specialist to join our Quality and Asset Management Services team. The purpose of this role is to maintain and continuously improve Snowy Hydro's Enterprise Asset Management system through collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders regarding the functional administration of the system.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee day-to-day functional administration of the Enterprise Asset Management system (Ellipse) and tools.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy and consistency within the asset management database by continually performing quality assurance
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for asset management related inquiries and support requests via service now, email and phone
  • Provide support to the various projects across the business by extracting required data from the system
  • Creating reports through Power BI
  • Assist in the development of test plans and oversee user acceptance testing
  • Develop and maintain documentation including systems-related process', ensuring to regularly review and update to maintain accuracy

We're looking for someone with:

  • An understanding of maintenance requirements
  • An analytical mindset and high attention to detail
  • An ability to adapt to changing priorities and business demands and continually meet customer service expectations
  • Ability to communicate complex information to a broad range of stakeholders and customers
  • An understanding of databases' (Ellipse desirable but not necessary)

Skills in the following areas would be advantageous but not essential:

  • Proficiency in Power BI and Smart Excel
  • SQL code experience

We're looking for someone who has sound knowledge of Snowy Hydro's systems, maintenance and change management processes and who also has the desire to think creatively about how we can best use our systems to support stakeholders and business objectives.
