Analyst (Strategic Workforce) | Multiple Locations

Are you ready to dive deep into data to help shape our workforce strategies? We're thrilled to offer an opportunity for an Analyst (Strategic Workforce) to join Snowy Hydro! This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, spotting trends, and creating meaningful insights that help drive strategic decisions.

As the Strategic Workforce Analyst, you'll play an essential role in collecting and analysing workforce data to support our workforce planning and capability initiatives. Your insights will help our leaders make informed decisions about talent needs, organisational effectiveness, and future workforce strategies. This is a full-time permanent position that can be based out of our Sydney or Melbourne offices.

In addition to the above, this role will include:

  • Compiling workforce data from various sources, ensuring data is clean, validated and organised.
  • Utilising compiled data to identify workforce trends and patterns and extracting meaningful insights.
  • Preparing regular reports that represent metrics and trends found and provide actionable insights and support.
  • Assisting in the project management of workforce transformation projects and initiatives
  • Conducting research and analysis to support such projects, as well as preparing documentation and materials when required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably within an HR or organisational development context
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools, such as Excel or Power BI
