Estia Health Plenty Valley is a warm and welcoming home, just off Plenty Road, in a vibrant residential area with shops and public transport close by. It is one of two Estia Health homes in the area, just minutes’ from Estia Health South Morang, providing choice of aged care services to the local community. Estia Health Plenty Valley Home is located in South Morang (806, Plenty Road, South Morang VIC 3752). 

About the role

Estia Health Plenty Valley Home has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Registered Nurse to join our team on a Permanent Part Time basis, working a range of morning, afternoon and evening shifts. 

In this role you will be comfort to our residents and will have a strong willingness to upskill – being a great Graduate Registered Nurse is all about how you make people feel. No two days will be the same in this diverse role.

One day your focus could be on engaging with doctors and allied health practitioners to ensure clinical care provision is delivered safely and effectively, and the next you could focus on partnering with the residents to develop personalised goals of care.

What will not change though is your commitment to:

  • Oversee personal care delivery to ensure it is both enabling, and person centred.
  • Actively partner with residents to ensure personal goals of care are understood and delivered.
  • Ensure safe medication management.
  • Deliver best practice clinical care that aligns with residents’ preferences.

The traits that will help you succeed:

Being an empathetic and caring person, who understands the importance of working in Aged Care, you feel a great deal of pride providing exceptional levels of care and support to our residents, and their families and visitors. You’ll also have:

  • A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives.
  • Great time management and planning skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well in a diverse team.
  • Current registration with AHPRA
