What you will be doing: 

  • Safe Transport and Supervision: Ensure the secure transportation and supervision of detainees during critical activities.
  • Court Participation: Engage in court proceedings while upholding all safety requirements.
  • Conflict Management: Handle conflicts with empathy, fostering positive interactions that can significantly impact detainees’ lives.
  • Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional, fair, and open-minded approach to all detainees, promoting respect and dignity.
  • Safety Oversight: Provide a secure environment for detainees, staff, and the public through vigilant monitoring.
  • Patrol Duties: Conduct walking and mobile patrols of designated areas to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Record Keeping: Supervise detainees and escort them to appointments or court appearances, ensuring accurate documentation of all activities.


Requirements: 
Availability for full-time training for 6 weeks in Perth (Fully Funded) 
Commitment to a minimum of 12 months to obtain qualifications
Australian/NZ Citizen or permanent resident
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, including a drug & alcohol test
