We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join our team in supporting the Sydney Roads and Asset Performance Contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the administration and overall success of the project, ensuring the effective management of subcontractors and suppliers, along with precise cost reporting.

Primary Responsibilities
Subcontractor and Procurement Management:
- Oversee workflow and issue Subcontract/Design Instructions in line with agreed rates or quotes.
- Create purchase orders and manage subcontractor invoices, ensuring proper documentation for variations.
- Maintain a variation register and assist in resolving contractual disputes and defects.
- Administer contractual documentation and manage changes/change events effectively.
- Identify, liaise with, and negotiate with potential subcontractors, supporting commercial matters and the Schedule of Rates.
- Review and prepare onboarding documentation, complete internal assessments, and ensure contract compliance.
- Provide support to subcontractors during onboarding and maintain the Subcontractor Register.
Commercial Reporting and Cost Control:
- Prepare comprehensive cost and commercial reports, including reconciliations, cash flows, and S-curves.
- Maintain full cost control, from budget establishment to ongoing monitoring.
Could You Be Our Next Contract Administrator?
We’re looking for someone who has:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- In-depth knowledge of subcontract tendering, standards, applicable legislation, procedures, cost reporting, procurement, construction programs, and plans.
- Proven experience in post-graduate project contract administration or Quantity Surveying on construction projects/contracts.
- Experience in a roads environment is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and apply contract terms and conditions.
- Exceptional organisational skills, including multitasking and time management, to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Proficiency with systems such as Team Binder, SharePoint, and MS Office.
