Asset & Maintenance Planner


Join Ventia’s SEQ Schools contract as an Asset / Maintenance Planner in Brisbane. This is a full-time permanent role responsible for the development, coordination and execution of asset maintenance plans for assets within the contract (7 schools). The role offers hybrid working conditions with a need to occasionally visit schools.

About the Role
You will work in a flexible, supportive and inclusive work environment that values work life balance and diversity. Your accountabilities will include –

  • Review and process QFM asset / master data changes
  • Schedule and dispatch routine maintenance and service orders to workforce resources
  • Maintain technical procedures, work instructions, inspection check lists and ensure they are available within technical packages and QA systems
  • Manage and monitor maintenance requests including incoming high priority service orders
  • Maintain work schedules including scheduling data, internal and sub-contractor resources, resource data changes and de-activating resources
  • Triage all scheduling faults, requests and problems
  • Support the Operations team in problem solving, investigating and resolving sub-contractor and client queries

Required Skills and Experience
You must be able to demonstrate experience delivering effective maintenance scheduling and planning services in a facilities maintenance contract.

  • Solid knowledge of computerised maintenance management systems along with Microsoft Suite and SAP
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem solving capabilities with a risk based approached to decision making
  • Sound understanding of technical compliance
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills
