Project Manager - Structures
About the role
Ventia deliver asset management, rehabilitation & maintenance services for the Western Roads Upgrade Project – a Major Roads Project. We are seeking a Project Manager – Structures to join our team and manage our structure inspection program and a team of Engineers and Supervisors.
This is a permanent full time role, based at the Western Roads Upgrade office in Laverton, VIC.
Duties:
- Manage settlement monitoring
- Geotech hazards management
- Conduct Level 2, Level 3 contract inspections as per VicRoads standards and PSDR
- Operational management of Subcontractors and suppliers
- Identify value adds for the client and proactive solutions.
- Build an ongoing relationship with appropriate DOT & Netflow counterpart.
- Ensure team are sufficiently resourced
About You
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in road structure maintenance works
- Experience in managing safety, environment, and quality outcomes in a road network environment.
- Experience in managing audit programs to ensure effective system compliance.
- PPP experience (desirable)
- Asset Management experience (desirable)
- Demonstrated sound knowledge of Structures Maintenance and Lifecycle
- Demonstrated sound knowledge of VicRoads/DOT specifications
- Experience in managing project sustainability in a construction environment will be highly regarded
