Associate Director, Maintenance Management

As Associate Director, Maintenance Management, you strongly partner and interact with global stakeholders to successfully develop & deploy best practice maintenance strategies, management systems, programs & processes for a safe & efficient operation of the company's assets. With your contribution, we will implement a standardized approach at all CSL Behring locations to ensure performance consistency and ease of coordination, evaluation & reporting.

In detail your responsibilities include:

  • Developing harmonized maintenance processes across the CSL Behring network
  • Defining and deploying global processes and governance in order to implement maintenance activities in a complex multisite integrated structure
  • Coordinating an overall recapitalization program considering a defined prioritized implementation plan reducing the risks of failure and increasing overall equipment efficiency
  • Driving consistent support for maintenance, calibration as well as Facility Management
  • Creating a community of practices across sites to promote the best practices at site level and ensuring sufficient knowledge management by means of standards and specifications
  • Evaluating data currently used in SAP PM for further site deployments and developing guiding principles for standardization of the data set of the company assets
  • Coordinating the prioritization of projects to include them in a 10 years capex plan and ensuring the link between SAP PM assessment and related projects
  • Improving benchmark and comparison by data driven decisions as well as bringing our SAP PM system in a proficient and continuous improvements process with consistent information across the network
  • Deploying a global calibration program in partnership with production sites as well as aligning and harmonizing processes and procedure to unify the approach on a global basis
  • Identifying engineering needs for site facilities and develops innovative solutions
  • Evaluating instrumentation and equipment specifications to identify potential issues that could result in operational vulnerabilities
  • Develop concept and identify best in class practices to elevate

Who you are:

As a passionate partner who drives initiatives for the organization, the below competencies contribute to your success:

  • University degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent, an additional education in Finance or Analytics would be a plus
  • Professional work experience in an engineering related field and ideally also in either Manufacturing Operations, R&D, QA or Supply Chain
  • Relevant work experience in the industry, ideally at multi-national organizations with exposure and practice to different functional areas
  • Excellent Business Partnering capabilities to move the business vision forward by successfully aligning virtual and persona teams from diverse teams
  • Experience in process engineering, energy production, heating and refrigeration techniques and manufacturing processes
  • Financial experience with budgetary responsibilities and demonstrated experience in Managing, Organizing, Developing and Deploying best practice frameworks, processes, tools and templates in an Operations context
  • Innovative thinker who deeply understands business acumen and drives for results by his excellent strategic agility and decision quality
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and agendas
  • Excellent stakeholder focus and collaborative mindset, ability to inspire others and at all times exemplifying CSL employee brand and values
  • Attentive communication skills, understanding your counterpart, strong ability to build-up trustful and forward-thinking business relationships as well as keeping your stakeholders informed, using influencing & negotiation skills if appropriate
