Here is a 12 month fixed term opportunity based in Karratha for a Water Industry Technician, responsible for operating, repairing and maintaining advanced ultrafiltration water/wastewater plants to optimise process and delivery outputs through monitoring, analysis and corrective action.

What you can expect with this role

  • Using a full range of trade skills to operate and maintain a treatment plant
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks
  • Attend and repair tasks in safe and timely manner
  • Required to work along and as part of a dynamic treatment team
  • Once trained in plant operations be part of an on call standby roster

Your skills and experience

  • Trade qualified (electrical or mechanical fitting), advantageous if with SCADA
  • Certificate IV Water Industries Operations Treatment, desirable not essential
  • High Risk Licences desirable, not essential (LF, EWP, DG, CV)
  • Ability to work on a standby roster, autonomously and within a team
