You’re the type of Welder/Fabricator who is comfortable working in a flexible but supportive workplace. You are flexible in your work environment and are as comfortable working on site as you are in a workshop. With your civil background and fabrication skills using a range of equipment and welding processes, you’re always looking to develop your skills, and would also complete further qualifications. Key skills and experience:
We are seeking a Fabrication Trade qualified candidate, ideally possessing strong experience in:
Aluminium and Stainless-steel fabrication/welding.
Fabrication of structural and piping scopes of work.
Your dedication to Occupational Health and Safety including hazard identification and well developed communication skills are essential for this position along with the following:
Current ‘MR/HR’ drivers Licence
Relevant High Risk Licenses
Demonstrated experience in Fabrication and welding water pipework in the field (desirable)
Ability to work on a standby roster
Ability to work autonomously and part of a team to ensure operational and maintenance outcomes are achieved.
About the town:
Mukinbudin is a small town in the north eastern Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, approximately 298 kilometres east of Perth and 80 kilometres north of Merredin near Lake Campion.
The area was initially settled by pastoralists in the 1870s, who took up large leases for sheep farming. The district is famous for its wheat and sheep farming, wildflowers, and massive granite rock formations.
Mukinbudin has produced several notable individuals, including AFL footballers Mark Seaby and Rowan Jones
Overall, Mukinbudin is an enthusiastic and progressive community with a strong sense of pride and community spirit. It continues to grow, attracting new residents and businesses to the area
