About the role

If you are looking for a peaceful lifestyle in beautiful, picturesque Margaret River region, here is the right role available on a permanent basis. This role will be working in a collaborative team environment, alongside a group of 10.

The position will be required to operate Wastewater Treatment Plants, plus working in an experience Team, whilst liaising with internal and external stakeholders ensuring legislative and company compliance.

What the role will involve

  • Manage effective process/ operation/ laboratory testing, maintenance, and repairs to wastewater treatment assets in the Leeuwin District
  • Ensure team and equipment safety and equipment is appropriately resourced and meets required standards.
  • Provide advice and/or assist Trainees, Operators and other contractors as required.
  • Records and documents information relevant to the scheduled work in an accurate and timely manner, including use of forms, computers and other devices as required.
  • Ensuring that all work is undertaken with safety as the priority in the provision of a work environment where no injury is considered acceptable, and all activities are undertaken without compromising health and safety.
  • Ability to work afterhours and participate on a standby roster.

About you

Attention to detail in a process environment.

  • Certificate III in NWP or working towards, will be beneficial.
  • WRRF experience will be highly regarded.
  • Wastewater Sampler Qualification
  • Confined space, SCBA and/or gas monitoring certifications desirable
  • Minimum “C” class drivers’ licence
