About the role
Drive strategic leadership in wastewater quality and operational excellence. Lead the Wastewater Strategy and Operations Support Section with innovation and vision, ensuring robust planning and long-term risk management through the implementation of a corporation-wide wastewater quality framework.
Champion technical expertise and regulatory engagement. Provide state-wide process management, specialist engineering, scientific, and operational support to achieve key wastewater quality objectives. Develop the IM process and support its implementation with Operations, while fostering strong relationships with regulators to uphold performance standards.

Champion innovation by establishing a centre of excellence that provides consultancy and operational support, ensuring industry-leading standards. Strengthen governance and drive continuous improvement by supporting executive-level Wastewater Quality Governance and Management Committees.
Play a pivotal role in business strategy, translating high-level objectives into actionable operational and tactical plans. Oversee all Section activities to deliver financial and organisational success, fostering seamless collaboration through strategic partnerships that enhance integrated functionality across the organisation.
