About the role

In this exciting strategic lead role, you’ll be leading with deep technical and strategic capability in Technology and Infrastructure services to build and expand practices and capability. You will act as senior stakeholder and thought leader for the delivery of core services.

About you:

There are a few things that we’ll look for in your CV;

You’ll be degree qualified in in relevant discipline (Business Information Systems, Information Management, Computer Science etc) with extensive experience and demonstrated achievements in modernising and running exceptional technology infrastructure and services team . You’ll have substantial experience in managing large scale complex systems and influencing senior stakeholders across the business.

Commercial astuteness with a flair for management outcomes in an environment that is both outsourced and insourced.

You will be a natural leader and will have experience managing high level teams and their performances. With your exceptional communication and influential skills, you will be able to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels, including Executive and drive positive business outcomes, constructively, challenge long-held opinions, and counterbalance resistance.

What the role will involve:

  • Ensures that strategic plans relating to architecture, services and policies relating to infrastructure and Digital Workplace are maintained and developed to meet the business needs.
  • Contributes to and influences the strategy, planning, and management of the broader technology portfolio across Water Corporation as an active member of the Lead Team.
  • Overall accountability for the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and digital workplace systems, through all stages of the portfolio lifecycle including the shaping of services and service agreements with Water Corporation Customer Groups.
  • Establish and oversee the management and optimisation of processes and standards across the infrastructure and digital workplace portfolio.
  • Lead in the development and maintenance of the Section’s Business Plan, ensuring alignment to Group Plans, objectives, and outcomes.
  • Provides thought leadership and strategic guidance to Water Corporation teams, on modern, emerging and future technologies
