About the Role
We have a permanent opportunity for a Team Leader – Trades Mechanical based at Canning Vale depot within the Mechanical & Electrical team at Perth Region Feld Services (PRFS). In this role you will motivate, develop and lead a team in providing water services to customers within the Perth region. This role will be responsible for organising and prioritising work across unplanned and planned activities and operational needs. You will also participate in our technical support after hours roster one in every six weeks.

Demonstrate leadership by ensuring that all work is undertaken with safety as the first priority
Proactively manage employee performance, levels of professional competence and behaviour in accordance with our code of conduct
Engage, motivate and inspire the team to deliver high performance and quality work
Manage the team’s day to day resource management & workload management in relation to resource requirements
Manage the provision of mechanical related services to all Water Corporation customers within the district
Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of operational plans
Build employee capability through mentoring, coaching and ensuring awareness of corporate & technical training opportunities and on and off the job training
Key skills and experience
Relevant trade qualifications, or completion of Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical)
Completion or progressing towards attainment of Certificate IV in frontline management desirable
Demonstrated leadership and operational experience within a multi-disciplinary team
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
C Class Driver’s Licence
