About the role

Based in our Leederville offices, the Lead- Recruitment Operations forms part of an experienced Talent Acquisition Team that is focused on delivering talent acquisition strategies that attract the top tier talent we need to secure WA’s water future.

Leading a team of four Recruitment Advisors, you will coach and mentor your team to deliver a considered and efficient talent acquisition service to the business, with a focus on value-add interactions. Working closely with the Lead – Corporate Recruitment you will ensure excellence in service delivery, with a keen focus on continuous improvement and developing an effective operating rhythm across the wider team.

Recruiting primarily for our Operations Group, your team recruit for white and blue-collar roles, as well as volume recruitment campaigns and projects. With a diverse portfolio of roles, spread far and wide across WA, you will collaborate with our sourcing and attraction teams to ensure on-brand, compelling candidate experiences that communicate our EVP, enhance our diversity outcomes and confirm our position as an employer of choice.

A strategic partner to our leaders of the Operations Group at Water Corporation, you will facilitate strong relationships to collaboratively identify talent attraction opportunities, deliver creative TA strategies and provide insights into market conditions and candidate behaviour. Hands on in your approach, you will lead end-to-end recruitment of senior level positions and manage a small portfolio.

About you

A highly experienced Talent Acquisition professional, you pride yourself on your knowledge of talent Acquisition best practice, process and technology, and expertly develop and deliver effective resourcing strategies. Acutely aware of labour market challenges and trends, you have experience in proactive sourcing, and ways of working, and can demonstrate experience and confidence in providing TA advice and guidance to senior leaders in different forums.

An authentic leader, you effectively coach, mentor and support a team to deliver strong outcomes in an inclusive and genuine manner. You are self-motivated and adaptable, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and a strong customer focus.

In addition, you will have:

  • Experience leading a team of recruitment/onboarding professionals to source, attract and onboard top talent, ideally in an Operational environment.
  • The ability to source and interpret data and use this to enable continuous improvement
  • Extensive experience sourcing and managing recruitment campaigns and senior level recruitment.
  • Experience in managing external vendors to ensure timely outcomes for our candidates and managers.
