About the role

We are seeking a Specialist - Asset Performance who willprovide technical guidance and leadership in presenting the risk and performance of our assets. With a strong asset management and data analytics knowledge and experience you will be a key person in implementing analytics, processes and technology to investigate and present the reliability, performance and risk of the wide portfolio of assets across water, wastewater and drainage networks.

You will contribute to building a greater understanding of how our assets are performing through investigation and data analytics and using contemporary visualisations of that reliability and performance to internal and external stakeholders.

Based in our Leederville office, you will be joining a team that value sharing and developing their own as well as your expertise. You will be one of the leads in a team of asset performance specialist who engage widely across the business to support investment and business reporting.

What you can expect with this role

  • Lead asset reliability analytics, monitoring and reporting to support asset management investment decisions and internal and external regulatory reporting
  • Lead investigations, monitoring and data analysis to support root cause analysis of systemic asset and network reliability, performance and risk issues and provide guidance and input to strategic, planning and operational solutions
  • Lead and oversee the maintenance and uplift in the input and workings of asset management decision support tools
  • Lead, oversee and implement processes that assist decision making and reporting of asset reliability, performance and risk
  • Lead, coordinate and deliver asset and network monitoring programs to support demand, capacity, utilisation, asset management and energy efficiency performance and risk assessments
  • Compile, publish and present asset and network performance reporting using contemporary visualisations for the relevant asset portfolio to meet business level of service and compliance requirements
  • Lead and/or support the management of project teams to deliver section or business unit outcomes
  • Coordinate and support asset and network data and information improvement initiatives

Your skills and experience

For this role, we are looking for great talent with:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or post-secondary qualification plus experience
  • Reasonable to advanced Excel Skills
  • SAP or SAP-PM or SAP-ABP transaction experience desirable
  • Knowledge of and/or operational experience in problem solving and issue resolution
  • Good analytical and conceptual skills
  • Valid drivers licence
