About the role:

We are excited to offer a permanent, full-time position for a seasoned Financial Performance Analyst to join our Group Financial Management Business Unit. In this role, you will work closely with your manager to support the Aboriginal Country Water Service (ACWS) in enhancing business performance. You will deliver a wide array of financial and accounting services, including identifying opportunities for business improvement.

This role will directly report to the Manager – Financial Performance and will be based in our Leederville office.

About you:

There are a few things we would like to see in your CV;

  • Degree level qualifications in accounting or finance or approved equivalent.
  • Considerable experience in providing financial and management accounting service in a large multi-functional organisation.
  • Considerable experience with computerised financial systems.
  • Experience in using SAP FICO and Activity Based Planning (ABP).
  • Experience in reporting business performance to senior levels of management.
  • Relevant experience in Stakeholder Management.
  • Relevant experience in Procurement systems.
  • Relevant experience in Project reporting.

What will your work look like?

  • Provide a comprehensive range of financial & accounting services within the assigned Region, incorporating all budgeting, forecasting, business performance reviews, analysis and reporting.
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly financial management reports and Business Performance Reports.
  • Provide consultancy on finance and accounting issues as required.
  • Review and provide advice on capital investment proposals and the financial/commercial implications on business performance, as required.
  • Undertake analysis, monitoring and reporting on financial performance, as required.
  • Provide guidance to Business Unit and Section Managers and personnel on financial policies, processes and procedures to facilitate the effective operation of the Region’s business.
