About the role:

We have a permanent full-time and a 12-month fixed term opportunity available for an experienced Contract Specialists. In this role, you will join our Contracts team to plan, develop and establish contracts for the procurement of goods and services including capital works projects.

Based in our Leederville office, this role will be reporting to the Manager - Contracts.

Some of the things you’ll be doing include but not limited to:

  • The role will primarily support the end-to-end contracts establishment process for Major and Minor construction works and Equipment in support of Project Management and Operational Stakeholders
  • From time to time there may be the requirement to support Major Equipment, and Panel or Preferred Supplier Agreement establishment for general goods and services
  • Work with stakeholders in the preparation of Evaluation Plans & bid related documentation
  • Management of the bid period, facilitating clarification, bidder briefing and information sessions
  • Facilitation of the evaluation process, including completing compliance checks and commercial evaluations
  • Support commercial, legal and technical negotiation processes
  • Contract Drafting and Award process management
  • Ensure policies, process and governance requirements throughout the end to end contracts process relating to areas such as Local Buying, Aboriginal Participation & Probity

About you:

There are a few things we would like to see in your CV;

  • Project based Works contracts establishment experience
  • Strong Stakeholder and Vendor relationship management skills
  • Attention to detail in documents review and preparation
  • Degree qualified in Commerce, Supply Chain, Law, Engineering or related discipline
  • Knowledge in Commercial and Contract Law
  • Experience or Knowledge in WA Public Sector procurement
