John Duff & Co is a Gippsland based business that has been supplying quality fuel & lubricants for over fifty-five years. Due to recent expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and well-organized person to deliver fuel out of our Koo Wee Rup Depot.

Job Description

Working a day shift roster, predominantly Mon-Fri with some weekend work in peak seasons. Driving a Rigid or HC from our depot / terminal to surrounding farms, service stations and other commercial businesses.

  • Fuel Tanker Driver
  • Working predominantly dayshift Monday – Friday
  • Paid under the Road Transport and Distribution Award

Due to recent growth, we are recruiting for a fuel tanker driver to join the John Duff and Co team in Koo Wee Rup

As a fuel tanker driver, this role will require you to safely load and deliver bulk fuel, lubricants, and equipment to farms, service stations and a large variety of business`s all across Gippsland. This is a great opportunity to join a professional and supportive business.

Qualifications

  • We are looking for drivers who have a clean and current HC license, as well as local area knowledge and experience driving on country roads
  • A Dangerous Goods License is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided to the successful applicant
  • A current Forklift license and MC license would also be highly regarded
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety

We are looking for drivers who are:

  • You will be required to be flexible with your availability as the workload varies seasonally but initially you will be working dayshift Monday to Friday as well as occasional weekend work.
  • We require you to be physically fit and well presented.
  • Once trained and competent, you will work unsupervised

Successful candidates will need to satisfy our pre-employment checks including medical checks, drug and alcohol screening and driver history report and references.
