About the role:
We are recruiting for multiple Water Industry Workers (WIW) to join the Unitywater team in the Sunshine Coast region. As a WIW, your work will be outdoors, maintaining Unitywater’s network of water and sewerage assets. This position will undertake works in planned and reactive civil maintenance; operation; and minor replacement, renewals and extension services on the water supply and sewerage network.

To contribute to this, you will be required to have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the team and with our customers, coupled with a Safety-first approach. You will be comfortable working with computers and mobile devices and be able to participate in after-hours rosters. You will have a current C class driver’s licence and the ability to obtain a MR licence within 3 months (mandatory requirement for WIW roles) and hold a General Construction Induction Card (White Card) or the ability to obtain.
