About the role:
The Network Engineer- Leak Detection Specialist is responsible for monitoring, reporting and reducing leakage across the water networks. This role is involved in a wide range of network activities from daily network leakage monitoring and investigating zone pressure issues to developing sustainable strategies for long term network improvements.

  • Engineering degree (Civil/Mechanical) with 7-10 years experience or a lesser qualification with equivalent applied experience.
  • Expertise in analysis and operation of hydraulic networks, with knowledge of water utility regulations and protocols.
  • Proven success in delivering technical solutions through systematic problem-solving and confident decision-making.
  • Strong ability to complete tasks and delegate priorities to manage risks and programs of work effectively.
  • Skilled in multitasking and time management to meet critical priorities.
  • Ability to balance technical, commercial, and customer needs.
  • Effective communication of technical topics in business terms.
  • Experience collaborating across teams and multiple interfaces.
  • Ability to participate in an on-call roster.
  • Valid C Class Driver’s License.
