About the role:
The Network Engineer - Leak Detection is responsible for supporting the monitoring, reporting and reducing of leakage across the water networks. This role is involved in a wide range of network activities from daily network leakage monitoring and investigating zone pressure issues to supporting sustainable strategies for long term network improvements.

- Tertiary qualifications in engineering (Civil/Mechanical) with 2-5 years experience or a lesser qualification with equivalent applied experience.
- Knowledge in analysis and operation of hydraulic networks, with knowledge of water utility regulations and protocols.
- Proven abilities in delivering technical solutions through systematic problem-solving and confident decision-making.
- Demonstrated capability to complete tasks and priorities effectively supporting multiple programs of work.
- Skilled in multitasking and time management to meet critical priorities.
- Ability to balance technical, commercial, and customer needs.
- Effective communication of technical topics in business terms.
- Experience collaborating across teams and multiple interfaces.
- Ability to participate in an on-call roster.
- Valid C Class Driver’s License.
