About the role:
The primary focus of this role is to promote a safe workplace by working collaboratively with Unitywater’s contracting partners through the reviewing, identifying, and monitoring of work health and safety activities across a number of project sites and programs of work. This role is pivotal to ensure contractors and sub-contractors adhere to the safety requirements detailed in the Safety Management System and they align with Unitywater’s’ culture of Zero Harm.
As the Contractor Work Health and Safety Business Partner you will also perform an essential service to Unitywater in reviewing and validating work practices and safety systems to ensure that the service/works and companies contracted by Unitywater have the relevant systems, hazard management and risk mitigation processes and procedures in place to ensure the safety of all personnel.
