About the role:
Reporting to the Strategic Asset Manager, the Asset Management Engineer plays a crucial role in developing comprehensive asset management plans, conducting analytical work to formulate asset management strategies, and maintaining the asset management framework. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  

  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of fit for purpose asset management strategies and plans to ensure optimal performance of water and wastewater systems.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather data and insights to inform data based decision making.
  • Utilise statistical and modelling tools to predict asset performance, degradation, and cost.
  • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the asset management framework in alignment with ISO 55000 standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practice.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback for asset management initiatives; and communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining KPI’s to monitor the effectiveness of asset management strategies and identify areas for improvement.
