Telephone Sales Representative

About the role

At HCF Group, we are seeking a Telephone Sales Representative who can represent our brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and vibrant team environment, where every day brings new challenges and rewards.


As a Telephone Sales Representative, you will be the friendly and professional voice of HCF Group. Your main responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer and sales service, as well as accurate information to non-members. You will maximise call opportunities to promote and sell HCF Group products and services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive inbound calls from non-members in response to promotional campaigns or member needs.
  • Handle all inbound new member enquiries, membership applications, and DL new member enquiries.
  • Provide clear, non-technical answers to any enquiries while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of member information.
  • Adhere to agreed call quality standards, state company and name when answering calls, and announce calls politely and professionally when transferring.
  • Explain complicated products/terms clearly.
  • Use sales and service skills, and knowledge of company products and services, to identify opportunities to sell to new prospective members, cross-sell health and life products to new and existing members.

  • Strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service & sales
  • Previous experience in a Call Centre
  • Knowledge of company products and services
  • A positive attitude and willingness to embrace change
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent telephone communication skills
  • Basic keyboard skills
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills – MS Office, Outlook
  • Desire and commitment to work within a team dedicated to achieving team and individual performance objectives
