Sales Consultant
The role:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering a positive and seamless experience for prospective and new members during the sign-up process to the fund. As a team member you will be accountable for driving the growth of the fund through a multi-channel sales strategy, by meeting KPIs that contribute to the overall team targets.

Teachers Health was created by teachers for teachers over 70 years ago and is the only health fund exclusively for the education community. As a not-for-profit health fund, we exist for our members covering the lives of over 400,000 teachers, education staff & their families.
What will you do?
- High level customer service, information and assistance to potential members;
- Maintain up to date skills and knowledge of THF products, policies, and procedures;
- Resolve inbound & outbound sales enquiries by phone or email in a timely and professional manner;
- Follow the sales process to identify customer needs and match appropriate TH products to customer needs to achieve growth objectives;
- Provide accurate advice and options to external customers;
- Use work time and work resources effectively;
- Self-motivation and drive to reach or exceed goals;
- Successfully convert leads or opportunities to a sale through our value proposition;
- Deliver on individual KPIs & contribution towards team targets;
- Adhere to a schedule and use effective communication with the larger team to maintain converage for all lead channels.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships;
- Maintain and look to develop ideal communication techniques and customer service skills.
What do you need?
- Background of sales and customer service with a focus on revenue growth.
- Ability to proactively and reactively manage leads through the sales funnel, with a focus of customer service and conversion metrics.
- Solid understanding of sales and marketing-led sales approaches.
- Successful experience in delivering bottom line results and meeting sales targets.
- Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Strong multi-tasking, problem solving and analytical skills, particularly with attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
