About the Role
  
In this hands-on role, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team of dental assistants and receptionists. Your leadership will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our accredited dental practice, where we prioritise strict infection control standards, the provision of high-quality dentistry, and outstanding patient care.

What would you do as our Dental Practice Manager?

  • Leadership and management of dental assistants and receptionists including onboarding, training and induction, rostering, coaching and performance management
  • Oversee management and coordinate purchase of dental stock for the centre; efficient use of products and eliminate products expiring and wastage
  • Lead from the front – Two days of this role is hands on in Dental Assisting and Reception duties, the rest are administrative days
  • Championing Teachers Health core values and culture across the team
  • Overseeing patient bookings to ensure smooth operations and maximise productivity of the dental practice
  • Monitor and review dental processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
  • Ensure infection control policy and procedures are implemented and adopted by all dental employees and contractors
  • Ensure the recording of accurate financial information for report generation
  • Ensure compliance with ADA and AHPRA policies and guidelines

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum 1 years' experience as a Dental Practice Manager with experience in managing and leading a team 
  • Strong knowledge and application of infection control processes
  • Dental Assisting Cert III or equivalent is required
  • A positive and professional communication style with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • Previous experience with Oasis, Examine Pro and HAMBS is beneficial
